Hi, let me introduce ourselves. We are a family-owned business for starters. I'm Kim. I've been a dog groomer for 20 years, had a few other dog related businesses, and have been surrounded by animals all of my life. I've owned several dog grooming shops throughout my career and was looking to find something more exciting in the animal field. Luckily Barney's came available and I was able to work closer to home. I enjoy donating my time and services for local animal groups.

My husband Tony also helps out in the store on a daily basis. He never realized that when "your life is going to the dogs" that it can be so much fun. Tony has also worked for the city of Cleveland for 9 years and is very active with me in helping out the rescue groups. Our daughter Heather is also crazy about animals. She helps run the doggie daycare. Playing with the dogs all day really makes her happy. One day she hopes to take over the store just like Mom and Dad.

Our family also consists of 2 cats: Whiskers and Popeye who live at Barney's K-9 Resort; three dogs: Lexi (11 year old Sheltie) Rayn (4 year old Sheltie) and Taffy (5 year old Lab-mix who was also a rescue). We can't forget the birds and fish who also keeep us busy. We hope you stop in soon to meet the Gang.
